A-listers have already started perfecting this wardrobe transformation this month: The Best Dressed stars of the week gracefully entered the season, all opting for sleek, understated looks, as opposed to summer’s brighter, brighter outfits.
It’s fashion month, so plenty of celebrities are making bold fall fashion statements on the runways this week. At Bottega Veneta in Milan, Solange appeared in an emerald-green leather look appropriate for this transitional period. Her outfit consisted of a zip-up leather jacket and shorts, paired with knee-high boots. At Prada, Storm Reid went the flashier route in a metallic mini dress, while at Dolce & Gabbana, Kim Kardashian showed Italian glamour in a shimmering black bodysuit.
There are some red carpet movie premieres that also require a double take. Margot Robbie appeared in a Celine gown with a dramatic cape at the Amsterdam premiere in London. At the Hollywood premiere of The Redeem Team, Gabrielle Union also shined in a Valentino look, with a gold mini dress to match the coat. Speaking of outerwear – Rihanna received an honorable mention in New York City when she wore a Dion Lee biker jacket that was hot on the runway. Guys, it’s time to officially wear the jacket. Because Rihanna said so.
