Injuries and news we monitor in the league this week on Sunday, Week 1:

- Detroit Lions Safety Tracy Walker in the third quarter against The Eagles were ejected for two personal fouls in the same game after punching and picking up.
Injuried
- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was injured in Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers and his thrower needed surgery, owner Jay Lee Jones told reporters. Prescott is expected to miss several weeks. Offensive lineman Conor McGovern (ankle) and safety Jaylen Coles (knee) also left the game and did not return.
Green Bay Packers Team guard Jon Runyan Jr. suffered a concussion against the Vikings. Cornerback Keisean Nixon (shoulder), linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder) and linebacker Krys Barnes (ankle) were also injured.
- Philadelphia Eagles Defensive end Derek Barnett did not return from a knee injury against Detroit.
