) The third round of the 2022 US Open men’s and women’s singles will continue Saturday at the USTA Billy Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York.
Jessica Pegula with Yue Yuan, Victoria Azarenka and Petra Matic in Women’s Aspects of the game highlighted the early window. On the men’s side, matches between Cameron Norrie and Holger Ruen, Carlos Alcalás and Jenson Brooksby highlighted the action.
The night’s window will be men’s Rafael Nadal and Richard Gasquet will be The game will be played at Arthur Ashe Stadium, while the women’s team will take on American Lauren Davis at Louis Armstrong Stadium.

Petra Kvitova knocks out Gabi with stunning third-round win in US Open women’s singles Nye Muguruza, she won 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (10) at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Saturday’s game was arguably Covitova’s toughest challenge yet at the U.S. Open. After dropping the first set 5-7, she bounced back impressively to win the second set.

The 32-year-old started to struggle hard in the third set, hitting himself 5-2. However, a double fault and a turnover from Muguruza put Kvitova back in the set before fighting back to win in the tiebreaker.

This marks the 13th time Covitova has entered the round since 2008 and is 16th at the U.S. Open. She will face No. 8 seed Jessica Pegula in the fourth round on Monday.
Covitova has beaten Pegula in both of its previous matches, including in 2020 The third round of the U.S. Open won 6-4, 6-3.
Do not. 7 Cameron Norrie def. Holger Rune No. 28: 7-5, 6-4, 6-1
Norrie defeated Holger Ruen 7-5, 6-4, 6-1 in straight sets and reached the fourth round of the US Open for the first time in his career.
Nori’s first serve was excellent, with a 77% win rate, while Luen’s win rate was 55%. He also forced the Dane into 43 unforced errors as he kept crushing him throughout the game.
However, after Norrie lost two sets 5-5, Luen was in the first set Play well. However, Norrie quickly regained control and went on to serve in the opener to win 7-5.
Norrie went on to win the second and third sets with little to no counterattack from Rune. He will face Andrei Rublev in the round of 16 on Monday.
Do not. 3 Carlos Alcaraz def. Jenson Brooksby: 6-3, 6-3, 6-3
Alcalás advanced to the round of 16 after beating Brooksby 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Saturday.
Alcalás is the first to break into the United States in consecutive years after Pete Sampras in 1989 and 1990. Youngest player in the fourth round of the Nets. Last year, the 19-year-old reached the quarter-finals, where he was beaten by Felix Auger Aliassime.
Alcalás had little pressure on Brooksby. However, he lost the first three games of the third set before rebounding to win the next six in a row.
This marks the Spaniard’s three-game winning streak in the US Open, knocking out Sebastian Baez in the first round, and ending the second round with Beat Federico Coria 6-2, 6-1, 7-5.
Alcalás will face Dan Evans or Marin Celic in Monday’s Round of 16.
