I love wearing Margiela’s Jazz Club on nights out – so far This is by far my favorite scent to be complimented by strangers. It has sweet honey flavors and woody notes of cigar boxes. As for Gucci’s The Last Day of Summer, I love this breezy forest scent for summer. Aromas of cedar, cypress, nutmeg, patchouli and vetiver. It’s woody, but fresh and light at the same time.

I was stopped on the street to ask What a fragrance I wear at least once a week, quite literally! I swear by Yves Saint Laurent Libre, and I don’t see myself straying away from this bold scent anytime soon.

Now, I’m obsessed with Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris Baccarat Rouge 190. It’s hard to explain what this universally pleasing scent smells like, but if I had to describe the scent in words, I’d say it’s a sweet and soft, light scent that keeps bringing compliments. I’d spend all day explaining how many people keep stopping me to ask what fragrance I’m wearing.

My fragrances are seasonal, currently, I’ve been alternating between Jo Malone Myrrh Tonka and Diptyque Eau Duelle. I love vanilla, especially during the colder months, as it adds a little warmth.

There is no denying Costa Brazil and their signature aroma fragrances. It’s an industry favorite, and rightfully so. It’s fresh and fragrant, with notes of Nutmeg, Orange Oil, Cedarwood and Patchouli, giving the illusion of spa-like tranquility.

I currently have two preferred scents. First up is the fan favorite, Byredo’s Mojave Ghost. Honestly, I don’t think I will get tired of this fragrance. Lately, I’ve been using Diptyque’s Floral Flirting Rose Eau de Parfum. I love the lightness and ease of this scent, it’s not too overpowering!

Just because half New Yorkers wear santal doesn’t mean you have to skip Le Labo’s other scents! I don’t have a nose, but for those who like a delicate, smoky and comforting scent, Neroli is for you. I don’t know what to say other than to say that I love Blackberry & Bay and true fragrance fans know that it’s one of the best Jo Malone fragrances. Already wear a different Jo Malone fragrance? Step up your scent game and start layering; these scents are low in alcohol, which means they can be layered. Well, I won’t watch the door. Use this with wood sage and sea salt.

I only recently discovered Santa Maria Novella’s L ‘Iris, it has captured my heart. Dare I say love at first sight? The fragrance is complex, complemented by notes of iris butter, orange blossom, Timur pepper, geranium and jasmine. More often than not, though, you might find me wearing Fenty eau de parfum. I’m a big fan of warm, sensual scents, and this one hits the spot. As a huge Rihanna fan, I can’t say I’m surprised I’ve grown to love it so much.

For most of my life, I’ve been searching for the perfect, energizing citrus scent. The thing about citrus, however, is that it can quickly send you into the lemon-head candy territory of adolescence and make you smell a bit like the mall of your youth. The Aqua di Parma Yuzu fragrance avoids this pitfall by layering the bright notes of yuzu on top of a more complex and darker accord – brighter due to the darkness underneath.

I was only recently introduced to Angels’ Share fragrance by Kilian Paris, but it was easy to fall in love with from the start. It’s slightly sweet, but still subtle and fresh, not to mention the gorgeous bottle is a chef’s kiss. I’ve been looking for a signature scent and it’s safe to say I’ve found it and I’m obsessed with it.

I used to wear only one fragrance all the time – Cowboy Grass by DS & Durga before the pandemic, then I switched to Rose Atlantic for about a year because Cowboy Grass smelled like my old life, but I miss it and have been thinking about slowly incorporating it into my rotation. These days, anyway, I’m doing something seasonal; having a small perfume cabinet feels like a luxury. In the fall, I wear Tory Burch’s Mystic Geranium; it’s light, a little sweet, but still a little musky.

My “winter” scent is nothing. Bouvard was designed by Maison Louis Marie. On bare skin, it feels overpowering and a bit over the top, but somehow beneath the layers of knits and sweaters, it feels exactly right. If I’m going out at night – which is rare these days because I have a one-year-old at home – then I do Dries Van Noten’s Fleur Du Mal. It’s intoxicating and sensual, and I love it. I bought the “discovery kit” which had all the fragrances in it and it turned out that there were a few I really liked, but that one was my favourite. When it was almost gone, I decided to save what little I had left for special occasions. Maybe I’ll ask for a full-sized bottle for my birthday this year.

I have been a fan of Jo Malone Red Roses fragrance for years. I usually layer my cologne and moisturizer, which is a rich, creamy texture. The scent reminds me of a summer garden – a memory I will never tire of.

I’m always looking for the perfect rose scent and currently, I’m rocking between Byredo’s Rose Noir In between, a daytime fragrance for me; it’s a bit light and feminine for me, and I use Aesop’s Rōzu as an evening musk fragrance.

I have been wearing this Caudalie fragrance for years and always Compliments for it. It’s just the right scent for me – strong enough to be impressive, yet light enough to be irresistible.

Daytime , I will go to the Bigarade Concentree in Frédéric Malle. It’s dominated by bitter orange, which is a nostalgic scent for me, having grown up in central Florida. As soon as we were near my house, my siblings and I would stick our heads out the window and inhale the intoxicating scent of the orange grove – the fragrance by Frédéric Malle evokes memories. But because it’s so fresh, I prefer a rich nighttime scent like Sigil’s Anima Mundi. It smells of smoky rose and I never get tired of it.

  • I followed my nose all over France and reappeared this season, finding myself for the first time in a conference room table in Monaco with dozens of fragrances, and more than one editor mentioned Eisenberg Paris Young Eau de Parfum is a favorite, not only for its sandalwood and cardamom notes, but also for the stimulating, daily fountain of youth sprayed on.
