This season Milan Fashion Week is more understated, returning to craftsmanship and simple elegance. Bottega Veneta reissued Matthieu Blazy’s popular character from seasons 1 and 2, Gucci returned to the Tom Ford era in a post-Michele transformation, and Prada paid homage to everyday heroes.
Relative restraint also seeps into hair and makeup, in moments of timeless red lips, prominent eyes, smooth hair and pretty softness.

This season’s show focuses on wet hair styling. At Diesel, hairstylist Gary Gill evokes a subcultural cool with swept-back paint locks, while at Fendi, Guido Palau keeps it with ‘2023s The movement twisted the model’s hair back, brushed it back, and added multiple strands of side fringe. Plus, Ferragamo’s Virginie Moreira’s shiny bun offered something clean and modern.
