Hope One of Würtzburg’s newest hotels the hotel is filled with local history. Madrona is a Victorian gabled house built for John Alexander Paxton 1001, recently restored by San Francisco designer Jay Jeffers transforms into an eclectic 39-room boutique hotel. With bay windows, original fireplaces and an extensive collection of art from the Paxton family, the interiors are designed to reflect Victorian minimalism. Michelin-starred chef Jesse Mallgren helms Madrona restaurant, and Van Moof e-bikes allow guests to explore the scenic roads with ease.
