“Everyone here looks super stylish and cool—and sexy.” If anyone knows how to say hello and flatter a crowd, it’s GQ by Will Welch. Granted, the idea was brought about by the publication’s annual celebration of Person of the Year — the hippest, the coolest, and, well, as Welch puts it. It’s about that time of year when fashion parties ramp up in LA – especially this Thursday night – but it’s hard to believe that any event around will beat fashion (write it with a capital “F”) GQ was brought to West Hollywood Edition.
GQ cover star Zoë Kravitz muses on what she’ll wear as she enters the venue; Tyga dons a sparkling long jacket , sparkling as they weave through the crowd at night. Stylist Maeve Reilly donned a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier suit, while Chloe Bailey donned a two-piece from the same designer (the brand just held an event with Kendall Jenner and FWRD). Meanwhile, the camera flashed on Luka Sabbat et al, who arrived hand in hand with his Versace-wearing beau, model Jasmine Daniels. “Back of the Year” and cover star Brendan Fraser was also in attendance at the festivities.
Held at the same venue as last year, the party spread indoors and outdoors, with margaritas, espresso martinis and delicious canapés floating around , a DJ plays tunes featuring thumping bass and nostalgic disco tunes. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker share a booth with Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox; Evan Ross (Evan Ross) met friends near the main bar. When White Lotus

Welch’s above compliment was before he presented the award to Pusha T, who wore it in the evening Tom Browne, and the “Best Body of the Night” award sponsored by Belvedere. This was followed by Kid LAROI performing his song “Stay”. Somehow, that was just the start of the evening, and the dance floor was finally cleared several hours later, and the partygoers must have regretted saying good night to their mates.
