, Achuan Daigo is a resident policeman who was recently dispatched to the remote mountain village Jiuxia. At first he was warmly welcomed by the villagers, but with the strange death of an old woman, he gradually became aware of the anomalies in the village, and began to suspect that “the people in this village are eating people.”
Ninomiya first published comics at Japan Literary Society
of the October Magazine 318, and ends in November 2021 . The 13 of the comic The collection has been shipped in Japan in February 2024.
The comic inspired a live-action series that premiered in December and ran for seven years.
