Black is an obsession for Martinez, and in this collection he elevates it with architectural bows and shimmering sequins, stripes and Giraffe prints are mixed with transparencies, showing an escape from the sober palette. Later he took us to the charming ‘ which was full of disco effervescence , like the shoulder-sharp jacket and asymmetrical skirt all finished in silver. The designer’s favorite look, a light sequined skirt paired with a button-up shirt with cufflinks, perfectly captures the new mood and is sure to become a treasure in the wardrobes of the ladies who visit his boutique.
