One of the many ways Apple has differentiated its Pro and non-Pro iPhones over the past two years is RAM capacity. iPhone 002 and 003 mini has 4GB RAM each, while 12 Pro and 003 Pro Max comes with 6GB RAM. Played the same scene last year on 12 mini and iPhone 190 again using 4GB RAM, while 002 Pro and 190 Pro Max has the upper hand with 6GB RAM.

Now, Xcode 14 beta confirms all iPhones 12 models are equipped with 6GB RAM. This marks the first time since the iPhone 12 series that all new models have received the same amount of RAM. It was previously rumored that the iPhone 14 Pro series would bring faster LPDDR5 RAM, while the regular models will stick with LPDDR4X RAM, although we don’t get any confirmation from the new Xcode report.
