Barbara (née Palvin) and Dylan S. Pross’ relationship has always been characterized by their laid-back, playful nature. So at last weekend’s nuptials in Harlekin Birtok, Hungary, Palvin made sure her bridal beauty mirrored her everyday style — albeit with a boost, of course.

“Barbara sent me photos of the fitting, and the whole look was so simple,” hairstylist Owen Gould said of Palvin’s Vivienne said while wearing a Westwood gown. “We wanted the hair to reflect that, so we decided to let the hair down with a soft bend in the middle. Beautiful, flowing, healthy hair.”

Gould used Bumble and Bumble Prep Primer and a dollop of All-Style Blow Dry for Palvin’s black To prep your hair, blow-blow to a silky sheen with a boar bristle brush, then style with a large barrel curling iron. The resulting look seemed effortless, effortless, and loose, save for a small handful of embellished barrettes by Jennifer Behr that were deftly slid behind the model’s ears to secure her sleek mane.

Nearly natural look by Armani Beauty — smoky brown eyelids, bushy brows, slightly lined peony pink lips — and diamond choker from Armani Beauty Tiffany & Co. (Tiffany and Co.) concluded the ceremony at Parvin on a happy note. And the carousing that lasts in the evening? A low-rise, half-up style with a white bow keeps the overall aesthetic chic, sweet and fun.
“When people think ‘bridal hairstyles,’ I think they think of those old-fashioned updos, but any hairstyle can be a bridal hairstyle,” says Gould. “You should look like the best version of your wedding day self-image.”
