Amanda Seyfried's Seven Veils to World Premiere at Toronto Film Festival

Canadian director Atom Egoyan will make the Toronto Film Festival world premiere of his latest film Seven Veils , sponsored by

Amanda Seyfried stars as a tortured opera director.

Seyfried re-teams with her Chloe The subject of an opera directed by Egoyan Drama, in which she plays Jeanine, a theater director who re-enacts her former mentor’s most famous work, adapted from the opera Salome from the composition Richard Strauss, based on Oscar Wilde’s play. Egoyan wrote the screenplay for The Seven Veils while also producing with producers Longtime collaborators Niv Fichman, Simone Urdl, Fraser Ash and Kevin Krikst. XYZ Film’s Aram Tertzakian, Nate Bolotin, Maxime Cottray and Nick Spicer executive produce, along with Cinetic Media’s John Sloss, Elevation Pictures’ Noah Segal and Adrian Love.

This film is produced by Rhombus Media and Ego Film Arts. XYZ Films will handle worldwide sales, while Elevation Pictures will distribute the independent films in Canada.

Toronto Film Festival will be held from September 7th to and more lineups will be announced in the coming weeks.
