Amtrak wants $7.3 billion in U.S. funding for infrastructure projects

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Amtrak said on Monday it has submitted a request for nearly $7.3 billion in government funding to modernize key projects in the Northeast Corridor

Infrastructure, improving railway stations and expanding services.
