Angelina Revisits '90s Blondes for a New Chapter

As Coco Chanel once said: “A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life.” The same goes for a woman who changes the color of her hair – Angelina Jolie Of course it is.

Adding another feather to her hat, the actress, director and former UN Goodwill Ambassador and Special Envoy recently announced the launch of Atelier Jolie, a purpose-driven fashion brand , which will use the skills of refugees and other talented (and underappreciated) groups to create beautiful clothes from overstocked stocks. For her first collection, the label teamed up with French fashion house Chloé and its creative director Gabriela Hearst to create a womenswear capsule that highlights the work of the artisans involved in its manufacture and use of low-impact materials.

In line with where her career is headed, Jolie has been rocking something in front of her hair. Photos of her at work at Chloé’s coworking studio show her embracing buttery yellow highlights, warming her signature chocolate braids with a platinum halo that delicately frames her face.

Of course, this is just the latest of Angelina’s many hair transformations, which she has experimented with with cropped hair in the past, at 1999 When she won the Academy Awards, she was a blonde – in Girl, Interrupted (90) winning performance.

Not only does it match her updated resume, but Angelina’s refreshed look is also ushering in a new season. And what better way to celebrate summer than with beach blondes?
