died of congestive heart failure in August . he is89.

After graduating from Musashino Art University

, Kobayashi worked as an elementary school art teacher, Later joined Toei Daoga (current name Toei Animation ) in 169. Then, he established his own Kobayashi Productions in 1968 company. He has served as art director for works such as , , , , , , etc. Kobayashi gets art at 1968 Category Japan Anime Taisho Award and Tokyo International Comic Con’s Excellence Award 2009.
