In keeping with its annual tradition, Apple has introduced a limited edition AirPods for Chinese New Year. This year is the new second-generation AirPods Pro, engraved with a special pattern of the Year of the Rabbit.
Charging case. The same pattern also appears on the box, but in a different color. Other than that, this model is identical to the standard model, including the price.
Apple has been making these models for years. For 2022, Apple released the Year of the Tiger limited edition AirPods Pro along with the Beats Studio Buds. The previous year had a limited edition Year of the Ox AirPods Pro.
Limited edition AirPods Pro will be available through online and retail stores in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Also, from December 30 to On January 2, Apple also offered discounts of up to RMB1000 for some products in these regions.
