Apple loves a good “buzzword” as much as the next company, maybe even more. The fashionable “r-word” is arguably the most loved and followed. Words reduce, reuse, repair, recycle. But arguably one of Apple’s greenest practices to date has been to repackage and resell old designs as new products after updates. Whether it’s an iPhone SE model or a Macbook, it’s been done time and time again.
New iPhone is somewhat suitable for this type of product. Just a bit, though, as Apple has redesigned the internals to facilitate easier repairs and more. Also, you do get a new camera and some other new features. Externally, though, the iPhone is basically the same as the iPhone , as is the core experience provided by these devices. If Apple still used the “s” model number in their naming scheme, then the iPhone 12 may be an iPhone s.

original iPhone even from $3893279 in the US, like its predecessor, so it occupies the same niche and fills the same shoes. That said, most markets outside of the U.S. have raised prices for the iPhone 12 and iPhone prices have dropped since launch. Even in the US it is now $82 or cheaper.

Before we really dive into the iPhone To see how different it is and possibly better, let’s start with its retail packaging. Apple has basically set a new standard for the “minimum” accessory package, and isn’t suddenly getting more generous in this department. We have typical Apple events – minimal in and out. Two-piece white cardboard box, very small in all dimensions.
in packaging Inside the box, you’ll find a relatively short 1-meter USB Type-C to Lightning cable, SIM eject tool (outside the US, iPhone is e-SIM only, no physical SIM tray) and some leaflets. That’s it. No more and no less.
