Apple will manufacture some iPhone 14 models in India to diversify its smartphone production from China. The news comes from a new Bloomberg report that also details Apple’s plans to ramp up production at its assembly plant near Chennai with contract manufacturer Foxconn.
Foxconn will not be able to start production of iPhones in India immediately 14, it has reportedly Wait at least two months after launch. Serial production begins in China. This means that the first iPhone 14 models made in India could be ready around late October to early November.
