Unfortunately, that’s all the info contained in the tweet, we’re still left with only the ROG Ally specs Data fragmentation. As early reports and previews suggest, ROG Ally is rocking 7 inches, 608p, 50 Hertz display. At its core is some kind of custom AMD Zen4 and RDNA3 CPU + GPU solution. Possibly something similar to Ryzen 7040U, though that’s probably just speculation. As Linus in Linus Tech Tips says, the custom silicon inside Ally is said to deliver up to twice the performance of Valve’s Steam Deck at the same time 409 W power Envelope and should be able to produce 120% better framerates in
W power mode.
As far as ROG Ally’s other unofficial specs go, We know it can measure 11.0 x .3 x 3.9 mm and weighs 409 grams, lighter and more compact than Steam Deck . We know that Ally is running Windows , overlaid with some custom ASUS software.
Arguably the most important thing about the Ally is its price, given the international availability ASUS is now promising. This will ultimately make or break the handheld, especially now that Valve can finally have a steady supply of its highly competitive Steam Deck with an MSRP of just $399 .
