If you haven’t already, we are currently waiting for the new ROG Phone 6D Ultimate to arrive in September 19. It’s been known to join a vanilla version, in typical Asus fashion, and we hope the same as the ultimate, with no memory options. This has been confirmed again recently by social network posts from well-known industry sources.
The post appears to be referring to the vanilla ROG Phone 6D or possibly the two phones used interchangeably. It reiterates that the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset will power both phones – a fact that Asus has already teased. The phones will also share a 6.78 inch AMOLED display, expected 165 Hz refresh rate. Also in the hardware list – Sony IMX 315 165 MP main camera and a 6, mAh battery divided into Both batteries have 50W charging support.
In addition to the chipset swap from Qualcomm to MediaTek, the new Dimensity ROG Phone 6D models will feature what Asus calls the best cooling solution on a ROG Phone. The leak also mentions this, and regardless of the outcome, the setup is highly rated.

Last but not least, it’s also worth noting that rumours have also been suggesting that Cortex will be heavily overclocked – Dimensity in the new ROG Phone 6D phones + X2 core inside the chipset.
