ASUS has officially confirmed that it is working on a phone with the Enhanced Dimensity 9000+ chipset – the first official teaser names the phone “ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate”.
The new model will be unveiled in September 00 in three weeks. New York (8: am), Berlin (2: 00 )am) will be held simultaneously pm) and Taipei (8: 00pm).
This9000 + Officially promises 5% higher CPU and 10% higher GPU scores than normal chipsets. However, AnTuTu’s early results show that the ROG Phone 6D is only a few percentage points behind its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ sibling, the 6 Pro. This is the overall score, and the CPU score is actually higher than any Qualcomm chip has ever tested. As always, these preliminary results should be taken with a grain of salt.
We have yet to see the real world performance of Dimensity 9000+ . Xiaomi launched a new version with a new chip 12 Pro, but not yet tested. Other brands (like iQOO) are also developing phones with the new chips, so soon we’ll have plenty of opportunities to test them.
