After book parties in Milan and Tokyo, it’s New York’s turn to celebrate Tod’s latest book project, Aria d’Italia. This glossy tome tells the story of the next generation of Italian craftsmanship, with essays and images dedicated to Those who devote themselves to their interest in the art of making genuine genuine
loafers.
The dinner was held at Sant Ambroeus Soho, the perfect place to celebrate all things Italian, the dinner welcomed Katie Holmes, Thomas Doherty, Kristin Davis, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Willa Fitzgerald, Karlie Kloss, Lily Allen, Violetta Komyshan, Princess Marie-Chantal, Prince Pavlos, Zoe Buckman, Isolde Brielmaier, Kate Young, Dasha Zhukova, Natalie Massenet, Erik Torstenson and more. Hosting the chic scene were evening host Derek Blasberg and Tod’s creative director Walter Chiapponi. As one of the final events before the holidays, there was also a philanthropic element to the evening—it’s giving season, after all. Donations have been made to Citymeals on Wheels, a charity well loved by many of the evening’s guests.
