At Eckhaus Latta, smooth skin and liquid latex gloves rule

“In this series, we have a lot of hairiness,” says Latta. “Shearling and hand-painted mohair have an abstract viscose that cosmetics have, and then latex makes a really interesting contrast.” For real hair, hairstylist Edward Lampley is creating a range of wet-to-dry looks. “We were using Mr. Smith Texture Spray and Mr. Smith Paste to spray it all out and make the shapes,” he explains. Some models, like Camilla Deterre, wore a “smooth and tight” wet look, while Thanowa Lual was given a “angel-like, very soft” dry texture, while others in the cast had an in-between look “Greasy, dirty” feeling.
