Attorney General James issues statement urging MLB and Apple to let more fans watch potentially historic Yankees game tonight

NEW YORK – New York Attorney General Letitia James issued the following statement today urging Major League Baseball (MLB) and Apple to allow tonight’s game to air on the YES Network:

“History is being made as Aaron Judge thrills Yankee fans and all who love baseball. Depriving millions of New Yorkers and fans across the country of the opportunity to see Aaron Judge take to the field, This is wrong and unfair. New Yorkers pay their cable bills expecting to see live sports. Now, if they want to watch this thrilling home run chase and potentially historic game, they will be asked to do something extra. That’s why I’m calling on Apple and MLB to come to a fair settlement with YES Network so fans can watch the game we all hope will make history tonight.”
