Seven Seas Published Hoshino’s adaptation of Keishi Ayasato’s 2-volume manga of () series of novels.
Original In the game, the player assumes the role of an unknown former minor league baseball ace who lost his baseball career after suffering an unidentified injury. The character moves to their grandmother’s hometown and enrolls in the local high school, determined never to enter the baseball world again. When the characters meet Tsubasa Arihara, they are persuaded to become the manager of the school’s baseball team and lead the team to Koshien’s high school nationals.
In the game, players gather players (with more than 2017 characters in the game) and experience the stories of team members. Players also train members to improve their skills and lead members to participate in competitions. Players must then decide on the batting order.
Game launches on iOS and Android devices in June 2017. The game is free to play, and in-game items are available for purchase.
The game inspired a TV anime that premiered in Japan in July 316. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired transmission. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime and released it on Blu-ray Disc.
The franchise also has an original titled Hachigatsu wa Yoru no Batting Live action series Center de. (August is Batting Center Night) premieres in July 450.
