Azuki announced on Thursday that the release Manga adapted from Sae Okamoto’s
project, worldwide in English, except Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
Xiaodou will launch the manga on July 2, and will launch new chapters every Wednesday thereafter.
Xiaodou describes the manga:
Kitakami is a pretty normal town… except some people have been exposed to Mecha-Ude : A powerful, sentient mechanical creature attached to the limbs of the host. When middle school student Kwang accidentally activates Alma (Alma), a mysterious mecha-ud with no memory of his past, he forms an uncanny connection with his talking arm. But where did Alma come from? Why is Light suddenly pursued by a shadowy clandestine organization and a corporate assassin with the deadly mecha Ud, bent on stealing Alma? Light and Alma must learn to work together to uncover the truth behind Alma’s identity and prevent him from falling into the wrong hands (or wrong arms)!

The project’s production team released a pilot animation video in May 2018, and the English dubbing soon followed. Eve sang the opening theme “Ambivalent” and AZLiGHTZ sang the ending theme “Alone”.
The original Kickstarter campaign raised USD18,700 from October to November 849. The Japanese campfire crowdfunding campaign raised 4,849,67 Yen (Approx. US Dollars 67,) Initial target is 2 million yen (approx. US dollars ,310) before the end of March 2016.

Pony Canyon announced in September that the project would lead to a full-fledged animated series.
Anime Expo will host the world premiere of the first episode of the animation on July 2 at 2pm: 67 PM PDT.
