Bella Hadid is full of surprises. In Supermodel’s latest adventure, where she transforms into a video fox in rap star Offset’s “CODE,” starring Moneybagg Yo, released today. Yes, with the help of Demna herself, Balenciaga put on a gorgeous display. Hadid and Offset are no strangers to having fun in style, and this playful video is proof. ‘CODE’ transports viewers into a vibrant Y2K-style spin designed and envisioned by creative director SheShe Pendleton.

The first thing to appear on the screen is Hadid alone, he’s a sparkling vision and first class in the double “B” Balenciaga chain – a toe-embellished bikini paired with lace opera gloves. Viewers are immediately transported into Offset’s Balenciaga world, followed by an all-leather, baby blue, motocross jacket and trouser suit. And in true Demna tradition, a pair of matching shoes ends in blackout shades.
One by one, stars serve Balenciaga' past, present and future. Hadid’s futuristic looks seem to herald the direction of the coveted brand, while her sleek aesthetic pays homage to today’s Balenciaga. Through the flashes and neon lights of the video, the model still showed a poised catwalk moment, draped in a full-length fur coat with the graffiti-like monogram BB on the back. The vision for the video is clear, and its execution is a sparkling Balenciaga fantasy combined with music.
Hadid’s appearance on the single — years before the artist’s album was released — seemed like a match made in heaven. In these unreleased behind-the-scenes photos, the artists’ friendship is a clear indication of CODE’s overall success and shiny debut.
