Debut of Estibaliz Urresola Solaguren, 20,000 Species of Bees A tender look at an 8-year-old Spaniard starting to transition, and the impact on the child’s family, was one of the highlights of this year’s Berlinale.
The film was screened in the competition section of the 2023 Berlin Film Festival and won the German Film Association Best Film Award German Art House Jury Prize voted by the cinema as well as by the readers of the Berlin daily newspaper Berliner Morgenpost.
