Berluti’s fall collection, the first product from its new unnamed design studio, hit stores a while ago. Sources from within the company suggest that its core brand fan base, its most important customers, responded positively to the new proposal. As this season’s golf capsule demonstrates, the exchange between brands and fans is a conversation. A few years ago, Berluti began offering a golf shoe called the Swing. Customer enthusiasm prompted them to offer a custom golf bag in Berluti’s signature leather, which also proved popular. So now luxury golf buddies can opt for B embossed leather and nylon varsity jackets, as well as some specially developed trousers and pullovers – plus a particularly cool visor – for a round of rounds in a full-on Berluti .
Elsewhere, the collection continues Berluti’s strategy of offering a greater proportion of informal menswear, enhanced with fabrication and detailing to appeal to men who value style over fashion. 2018 The Shadow knit sneaker, which has become a best-seller at Berluti, is here worn under some confident, earthy pieces. These included a beautifully refined linen smock jacket with leather detailing under the collar and, at first glance, a basic James-Dean look in jeans and a T-shirt. Look 6’s peak collar jacket is tailored from leather with an incredibly understated fabric. luxurious. More luxe pieces include a vintage blue leather jacket (blue suede paired with new Lorenzo loafers for driving shoes) and a gradient version of the Luti bag, which was reintroduced as a permanent fixture The main line is again responding to customer needs.
