WWE changed the formula for this year’s Survivor Series by ditching the traditional knockouts and putting all the focus on WarGames.
Over the last five years of the Raw vs. SmackDown brand wars, it’s more than fans have gotten A better performing strategy? Or is this a gamble that results in more negatives than positives?
Looking back at the pay-per results-view, let’s break down the biggest moments of the night that had us scratching our heads or standing up to cheer. Best and worst booking decisions.

Best: Sami Zayn vs. Jey Uso Storyline Progression
1 of 4
Jey Uso’s relationship with Zayn has been tense for months. Roman Reigns had moments of doubt, times when he stood by Zayn and felt like he could trust him.
A great moment happened when Jey started the WarGames competition for his team, when the second As his teammates came out, Reigns held back Jimmy Uso from being the next contender. Instead, he told Zayn to get out. This means that Reigns is like a disciplining father to two wayward kids, forcing them to work out their problems question. IE, he shows why he is the leader of the tribe and why the faction wins in the end.
Zayn’s choice cost Owens the win, underestimating him and fully supporting The Bloodline resulted in the win and hugs, But he still has reservations on his face, clearly struggling with his decision. This type of character development is necessary for a lineage perspective that goes beyond simple “Reigns and His cronies beat everyone every week. Adjust next time copy paste.”
Worst (possible): Two WarGames results

Watching Zayn while The angle race was fun, but in the long run, it might not have been the right call for Bloodline to win that race. In a similar sense, booking Bianca Belair’s team to defeat Team Damage CTRL may well be a mistake. Calling these the worst booking decisions ever made depends entirely on whether and how WWE plans to circumvent a major problem because All viable contenders for both titles have now been defeated — some several times. Belair can’t have another game to continue their feud with Bayley. That had been buried in the ground for months. Becky Lynch’s win leading to another bout with Bel Air is pretty tiresome too, so why would she win besides celebrating her return?
Maybe WWE has a secret. But if the plan is to “figure it out” and drag things down the road to WrestleMania this holiday season, it’s going to be a rough two months.
Mixed: Austin Theory wins US Championship

Austin Theory dropped the US Championship earlier this year, but passed Win a briefcase briefcase to make up. Months passed and he lost and didn’t advance to the next level and he ended up in A failed attempt to cash in on the China Card title in an open challenge he didn’t participate in need to use his title shot for. Over the next few weeks he was called a loser and became a reference to the fact that he is now taking things more seriously and that he will prove that he is not the future but the present.
Then, he won the United States Championship, but Seth Rollins lost his After taking the spear, he was knocked down by Seth Rollins? !
Yes, winning the Championship is a step in the right direction to fix the failure to cash out All damages caused by Theory. But his winning nature makes him look like a complete fool who didn’t deserve to walk away with a title. is better than nothing, but it’s not as big a deal as WWE thinks it is. There is an opinion that this is not progress at all and will cause more damage among fans, They don’t think Theory is even worthy of the championship level he was last year.

BEST: Ronda Rousey and AJ Styles win

Ronda Rousey’s victory over Shotzi is the easiest Vote for judgement. There was no way she would lose, and if she did, it would be a huge mistake.
Shotzi’s game hasn’t been great lately, and she doesn’t have Rousey’s star power to make up for those performances. That game was tough, but the right decision was made to keep it on The Rowdy One. The sooner she drops it, the better the division will likely be, but the Shotzi won’t level up.
Also, thumbs up for AJ Styles being booked for beating Finn Bálor. The feud will take a while, but if that’s the end, at least the babyface is on top.
OC keeps losing and The Phenomenal One hasn’t won a game since Crown Jewel 2019 Pay-per-view singles matches. He was long overdue for a win to offset his poor year. These two wins for good booking decisions were more of the bare minimum than WWE Creative taking a shot for themselves Back pat stuff, but they’re at least things that should have happened, not just more bugs.
