The end of November marks the unofficial start of the holiday season. After Thanksgiving and Christmas next week, the holiday party circuit is about to begin – which means it’s time for your best glitzy fashion to come out and play. Hollywood’s top stars certainly understood that this week: On the red carpet, they opted for glamorous gowns and outfits that would look right at home at any holiday bash.
There were several eye-catching gowns sparkling at last night’s Los Angeles Governor’s Awards in Los Angeles. Margot Robbie’s Bottega Veneta look in a silky green fabric—a two-piece top and skirt that reveals abs—is the perfect mix of classic and modern. The same goes for Florence Pugh’s chic white Victoria Beckham dress, which has sheer panels. Zoë Kravitz also showed her skin at the GQ party in Los Angeles earlier this week: She wore a black plunging V-length floor-length gown by Saint Laurent with a cutout navel design.
Sculpture designs are also trending this week. Olivia Wilde dons black Gabriela Hearst at the Los Angeles premiere of Women Talking The gown, which has a “bust” built in gold leather, is embedded in the gown. Gwendoline Christie also opted for a floor-length red Balenciaga gown at Wednesday Hollywood premiere with An oversized bow – perhaps to accentuate her stunning fashion flair.
