Case in point: Oprah wore a gorgeously coordinated royal purple silk suit with on-trend cargo pants to show off her expansive “everything is purple” wardrobe . The casual twist comes shortly after the release of the trailer for the star-studded film adaptation of The Color Purple musical. The TV mogul called on soon-to-be viewers to put on — what else? – Purple clothes to show. “I’ll give you six months to get your clothes done,” Oprah said, pointing. We are listening!

And other incredible downtime. Namely, singer Shygirl shared some nonchalant bed selfies in a ruffled silk dress. We also saw a plaid tank top that exposed biceps that Olympic diver Tom Daley knitted for his own Made With Love label.

With the Cannes Film Festival in full swing, releases from abroad are decidedly more eye-catching and luxurious. Movie event darling Elle Fanning showed off her Cartier necklace. Model Ashley Graham shared some blurred photos of herself in the back seat of her car, wearing a one-shouldered black dress and thigh-high strappy heels. Selena Gomez, always a savvy poster, shared some red photos of herself having dinner with friends in Paris, wearing oval sunglasses and a baggy leather jacket.
