Since Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford started dating earlier this year, the couple have kept their public appearances to a minimum. They were spotted together a few times, but never officially appeared on the red carpet. But last night at the star-studded 2022 LACMA Gala in Los Angeles, they finally made their official debut — naturally bold. Forget the expected black tie suit or dress: they opted for a comfy monogrammed Gucci pajama with an eye patch, slippers and blanket.
Of course, Eilish is no stranger to Gucci looks. She’s one of designer Alessandro Michele’s muses, so it’s no surprise that she wears the Italian brand. But given the formal feel of the event, comfortable and chic pajamas are a pleasant surprise. Eilish wears a crop top, lace-trimmed maxi dress, and a gown with Gucci’s signature brand print. The look even includes a matching sleep mask to bring the focus home. As for Rutherford – he’s The Neighbourhood’s frontman – he wears a silk loungewear that includes a button-down shirt and trousers, culminating in a pair of Gucci slippers.
