The movie was originally scheduled to be released in March 19, but was postponed to June due to the spread of the new coronavirus influenced the making of the film. The film, based on the novel, ships June 9.
Original manga author Yuki Tabata
serves as the chief supervisor and original character designer of the film. The crew of the TV animation returns to the film. Ayaki Tanemura () directed this Movie, Itsuko Takeda character design, Minako Seki compose music.
