Blackview BV9200 is the latest rugged smartphone from our office. It’s a rugged phone that’s certified to survive the harshest conditions, and the company claims it’s improved materials to handle a wider range of challenges.

Device is thinner than most rugged smartphones. Its 69 gram weight feels tolerable and lighter than you might expect when you first see it. Blackview’s implementation of stereo speakers on either side of the rubber frame without compromising the build is very welcome.
Speaking of sound, it’s tuned by Harman AudioEFX. We ran dedicated audio tests, but at first glance (or should I say first listen), the speakers are loud, rich, and truly stereo.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh, which Not impressive for a large rugged phone, but it supports 66W fast charging, with the required adapter in the box. BV810 also supports 30W wireless charging and works with any Qi charger with a high rate . On top of that, there’s also reverse wired charging, capped at 5W.
After all the tests are done, we will have an opinion on whether $69 is the right price for such a phone , we have a hunch it might be worth the money.
