Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will star opposite each other in Sony’s adaptation of It We End, Based on the best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Baldoni will direct and executive produce the film through his Wayfarer Studios banner with his partner Andrew Calof. Lively, Hoover and Steve Sarowitz will also serve on the project’s EP, which Alex Saks will produce for Saks Picture Company alongside Wayfarer’s Jamey Heath.

According to the synopsis of the book, It Ends With Us
“follows a Girl, she has just moved in and is ready to start her life after college. Lily then meets a man named Lyle and she falls in love with him. When she develops feelings for Lyle, her first love Atlas Reappears and challenges the relationship between Lily and Lyle.”
Novel at 2016 but became a “BookTok” phenomenon in 2021, with over 2 billion hashtags on TikTok. Its popularity made Hoover the best-selling novelist in America, with more than 20 million Book has been sold. She also wrote six 2021 top 20 best- seller.
Baldoni’s interest in the book dates back to 2016, when he and Wayfarer Studios Adapt to large screen is selected. Since then, he has worked closely with the writers who consulted on the film.
