'Breaking Bad' actor and comedian Mike Batayeh dies at 52

Mike Batayeh, who played laundromat manager Dennis Makowski in Breaking Bad (Dennis Markowski), and performing comedy around the world, is dead. he is52.

The actor died of a massive heart attack on June 1, his family told The Hollywood Reporter.

“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that my sisters and I announce our passed away dear brother ,” his family wrote in a statement posted on Facebook. “He will be greatly missed by those who loved him, and his great ability to bring laughter and joy to so many.”

Batayeh is probably best known for his work in Breaking Bad, in which he played the manager of Lavandería Brillante’s laundromat. The company acts as a cover for Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) for the giant meth lab that Walter (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse (Aaron Paul) use while working for the Pollos Hermanos owner/drug lord. His character was burned alive in prison to prevent him from telling the DEA what he knew about the Guth Empire.

The actor has appeared in other TV shows such as Everybody Loves Raymond, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Shield, Sleeper Cell ) and touch . He has also played roles in films including American Dream, Gas Station, East of America, Don’t Mess With Zohan and Detroit Unleaded .

Batayeh was one of the first Western comedians to perform to audiences in Dubai, where he filmed episodes for Showtime Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan. A comedy special.
