BridgetonStarPhoebe Dynavor said she would not appear in season three of Netflix’s hit.
During the red carpet interview at the Sundance Film Festival ScreenRant, the actress revealed that while her character Daphne Bassett won’t appear in the upcoming season, it’s possible she could return in the future.
“It’s a pity there isn’t a third season,” Dynevor said. “Possibly in the future. But season three, I’m excited to watch as a viewer.”
Netflix has yet to respond The Hollywood Reporter for comment requests.
Last season, Bridgeton’s oldest daughter had a supporting role with far less screen time, as the episodes focused on Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate ( Simone Ashley). Daphne’s on-screen husband Duke Simone Bassett (Regé-Jean Page) also took a backseat in the second season, and Page Did not appear in that season .
