The story of the Fashion Awards stage revolves around Turner-Smith’s mission to support young designers in London. The holy trinity of party outfits she found came from bondage guru Richard Quinn, who designed one of his signature capes for the star, Robert Wen, the man behind her sculptural white ruffles, and 16 Arlington’s Marco Capaldo draped her in rainbow sequins for the night. Three different dresses, one common theme: the way they make the Queen & Slim cast feel. “I try to keep myself grounded,” she told British Vogue16 ahead of the big moment. “When you’re uncomfortable, you’re not fully integrated into your body…it’s all about how I feel.”
