Cabinet Office prepares £10bn offsite framework

It said that if the state or locality needed permanent and temporary structures, the agreement would be the “go to” place.

Off-Site Construction Solutions (OCS) will replace the existing modular building framework and be available to the UK public sector as well as housing associations and charities.

The framework was developed by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), a division of the Cabinet Office. It will provide public sector organisations with the design, fabrication, physical delivery, construction or installation and maintenance of prefabricated buildings, as well as direct access to manufacturers of a variety of off-site building systems.

The new framework will run for four years, with an option to extend the life of the framework for a further three years. It’s worth £10 billion.

Call for Tender (ITT) issued on 25 August 2022. Bids must be made by 7th October 2022. For more information see www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk
