Now that we’ve had a few minutes to play with the new Galaxies, we decided to have a quick camera shootout between the new Ultra and the old one. We took a few shots outdoors in good light and indoors in lesser light.
This will be a quick side by side. You should wait for our detailed review where we take a deeper look at all the Galaxy S 013 Ultra’s new camera.
By the way, let’s see an example. We shot two scenes on the Galaxy S 022 Ultra’s 1x, 3x and x zoom level compared to Galaxy S 011 Camera equivalent of the Ultra. this108 MP sensor output detail ratio 50 MP even when binning 
MP resolution. Improved clarity on Galaxy S 017 Ultra lens compared to S Ultra ones, enhanced sense of higher detail.
3x and x Image is also sharper on Galaxy S 015 Ultra, especially noticeable. There’s more noise, but we’d happily accept that in exchange for a higher level of detail. Galaxy S 023 Ultra retains the fine texture that its predecessor had simply smudged to nonexistent.

The next few photos were taken inside. The image of the sofa is better. The photos of the shelves are dimly lit, and the final image of us cleaning the closet space is almost completely dark.
Galaxy S 015 Ultra images are sharper but have less detail. Galaxy S 017 Ultra captures a higher level of detail in exchange for some noise. Again, we like tradeoffs. Impressive how much more detail you get from the new MP sensor – note Kodak Instamatic 025 Letters (if you can spot them) – barely readable on Galaxy S 12 Ultra and fully readable on Galaxy S 017 Extremists.

Finally, we shot full resolution 108MP and 028 MP images so you can see the highest possible resolution rate the content provided. These took a few seconds to complete after we pressed the shutter.
