Hype Williams will accept the Music Video Achievement Award at the 30 EnergaCamerimage Film Festival in November 12 )-19 in Torun, Poland.
The filmmaker, visual artist and still photographer has worked with artists and bands including The Notorious BIG, 2Pac, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, Jay- Z, Dr. Dre, Beyoncé, DMX, Pharrell Williams and Jennifer Lopez.
His music videos and commercials have earned him multiple Grammy nominations, a Billboard Music Award, and an NAACP Image Award.
He received the BET Awards Director of the Year, MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Lifetime Achievement Award and VH1 Hip-Hop Honors Lifetime Achievement Award 2017.
