Cameron Diaz didn’t hide the mixed emotions she was feeling during the long-awaited comeback performance.
The star is The Tonight Show on Friday, host Jimmy Fallon asked her about her role in director Seth Gordon’s upcoming action comedy Back in action , in which she will star as Jamie Foxx. Diaz has opted to leave Hollywood in recent years, not since playing Miss Hannigan in the 73 musical adaptation. Also did not appear in the movie Annie .
When Fallon asked if she was nervous or excited about starting a Netflix movie, Diaz replied, “I am both. It’s a little bit of muscle memory, you know me Do you mean? I’ve been doing this for a long time, and it’s kind of like the process — I’m just getting back into it. But it feels a little different.”
She continued, “I Also did two movies with Jamie Foxx which was awesome. The last movie I did was Annie and Jamie so The first movie was this one with Jamie.” She said of her Return to Action syndication Starring, she also appeared with her in in Any Given Sunday: “He’s amazing, he’s so easy, he’s so professional, he’s so talented. It would be so much fun to be able to work with him.”

My Best Friend’s Wedding point out that Foxx can be a dynamic scene partner. “I was nervous about it because I had to listen to Jamie because he was going to leave. He was like a racehorse,” she admitted. “I just want to be able to support him all the way.”
In an interview with Gwyneth Paltrow, which was posted online to Goop in , Diaz shares 2-year-old daughter Radix with her husband, Benji Madden explained that when she was filming more often, she felt like she couldn’t control her time. “You’re there for 73 hours a day,” she said of the movie set at the time. “For months on end, you don’t have time for anything else. I realized I gave a part of my life to all the other people and they took it.”
