This morning, the cast of Pedro Almodovar’s Strange Ways of Life attended Photoshoot at the Cannes Film Festival. The Spanish director’s new western short co-stars Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal as law enforcement officers and cowboys, revisiting a passionate relationship. But what I want to talk about is the supporting cast of the project.
Manu Rios, Jason Fernandez, José Condessa and George Steane totally stole the show. At least they made an unexpected fashion choice: Four men showed up at the same time, wearing Saint Laurent’s chicest little shirts. What a treat.

The actor’s modern top felt more romantic and choppy. Not to mention hot, thanks to the bare skin in sleeveless silhouettes or extremely deep V-necklines. For example, Rios wore a white wrap top with a silver collar, while Condessa wore a black crop top with a gold pendant necklace. Meanwhile, Fernandez opted for a silk sleeveless top with a bow neckline. Steane is the classiest of the bunch—he wears a classic, slim black button-down—but he still blends in beautifully with the rest of the crew. Individually, they sparkled, but they also came together in a good way—thanks to their high-waisted black trousers and shiny patent leather shoes.
Considering Cannes is known for its timeless, glamorous fashion aesthetic, we’re sure to see plenty of classic tuxedos or suits from men this week – but these four stars are A flirty attitude in red carpet style is totally refreshing, not to mention completely unexpected. Talk about the start of the Cannes Film Festival.
