Last Friday, Coachella weekend kicked off in Indio, California — the stylish spectacle you’d expect from the annual music festival. Considering that stars such as Bad Bunny, Blackpink, and Blondie gathered this year, the main stage of Coachella also has bold performance styles.
In the crowd, fashion stars like Hailey Bieber, Lil Nas X and Shawn Mendes also brought out their best festive looks for an epic weekend of perfect summer street style.
On the Coachella stage, the costumed performers wore outfits ready to dazzle the crowd. Leading band Blackpink embraced their co-ordinated girl-group style, with plenty of silver embellishments and cutouts on the look. Iconic rock band Blondie also donned disco ball attire: frontman Debbie Harry’s cape was covered in fragments of reflective mirrors. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny opted for ERL’s colorful print down jacket for warmth and style.
Meanwhile, Coachella apparel has been playing up the festival’s style signatures (thinks, denim, fringe and lace). Model Hailey Bieber was spotted wearing a cropped white tank top and super baggy jeans. Lil Nas X wears a cropped bomber jacket, a checked miniskirt by Chopova Lowena and leather knee boots by Rick Owens. When Kourtney Kardashian’s husband Travis Barker performed with Blink-182, the star also wore a bouffant on the sidelines cheered him on in a black faux fur coat and extra-wide Shield sunglasses. It wouldn’t be Coachella-ready at all if it wasn’t slightly over the top.
