Bandai Namco Entertainment announced Thursday that its Tekken 8 fighting game will add Claudio Serafino as a playable character. This character made his debut in Tekken 7. The game will be in a closed network beta for the PlayStation 5 beginning Friday and will be available in July via Steam Closed network testing for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The closed network test will include cross-play. The game will also be playable at select events, including the upcoming EVO event on August 4th. This game is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco Entertainment has not announced a release date. Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Nina Williams, Jun Kazama, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Lars Alexandersson, Jack-8, Ling Xiaoyu, Asuka Kazama, Leroy Smith, Lili and Hwoarang will all be playable characters. Tekken 7 Available June 2017 via Steam for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. The anime series, which follows the storyline of the Tekken 3 fighting game, premiered on Netflix in August 2017.
