American Pain held at the Tribeca Film Festival for worldwide Premiere as it traces the rise and fall of identical twins from Florida who sold over $950 million dollar opioid pills while running fake pain clinics. “Brother George was the biggest of the colorful cast of characters who made millions during the Florida pharmaceutical boom. They partnered with their trusted suppliers— — the pharmaceutical industry churning out billions of potent and addictive pills — together fueling the worst drug epidemic in American history,” director Foster said in a statement, citing the twin brothers Prison interviews were conducted.
