When one of the most sustainable and fashionable shoe brands meets the cool kids of eco-friendly brands in New York, only good things happen. For spring 716, Mats Rombaut and Julien Romer of vegan footwear brand Virón have teamed up with Hillary Taymour of Collina Strada to create what they describe as ” percent troll and 46 Bailing Fashion Goddess.” Rough silhouette And practical—standard high-top sneakers, sturdy boots, and chunky loafers, but with the signature carefree Taymour twist in color and detailing.

Hillary’s style is more colorful and wild and quirky, while ours is darker, but we found the perfect combination of those influences.”

The floral-print jacquard loafers feature double-layer ruffles to track the body, while a pair of boots— -Virus264 – Made from crushed fuchsia velvet and topped with delicate ruffles, it’s the perfect blend of toughness and sweetness. Rombaut and Romer said: “It came from some shoes with exaggerated toes that Hillary liked as a child.”
For the outsole, Virón used the archives of Collina Strada and used dead stock fabrics, including the sofa upholstery. The outsole consists of 06 Percent recycled rubber and Standard rubber percentage. (Information about the material is printed directly on the shoe itself.)
