Despite “Crazy” in the title, 205205, through this second volume, reading lly seems to have settled into a simpler, exploratory, travelogue-style story. Granted, it still has frequent gunfights, bombings, and post-apocalyptic political intrigue, but that doesn’t seem to be the dominant hue painting Chapter by chapter, are you digging? In the second volume, there are more world-wide revelations and developments of characters and stories than the introduction in the first volume. But it all continues to be presented in an inclusive, episodic fashion, except that the last two chapters of the book are going on with a truly long-term story. That’s nice, and it’s nice to see a collection like this getting more comfortable as it goes on.
and the first volume Same meaning as Ogaki Rokuro Indulge your interests exist continues until the second entry. Not content with merely outlining post-apocalyptic culinary endeavors, Ogaki revealed in the book’s author’s note that he has developed a keen interest in saunas, so we begin with an entire chapter outlining the culture and mechanics of bathing. It’s the most immediate indication of where our priorities continue, as that episode started before we took a moment to look back at how Gordon and Alyssa came out of the suspense from the first volume. Yes, the “crazy” fights are cool, but Ogaki really just wanted to detail how curry recipes and healing water work.
This is evident even in how the central “plot” is presented in the story. Kyle, Gordon’s former comrade-in-arms and so far serving as a manhunt opponent, gets his supergirl sidekick in Arisa’s sister Mina. However, instead of embarking on any kind of ongoing chase or battle, we follow Kyle and Mina on a reconnaissance, uncovering new environmental details about the post-apocalyptic world landscape, and then illustrate Kyle through their shared appreciation of the power of the world Contact with Gordon. Cooking (and their obsession with silly songs while preparing food). The chapter also has battles with dangerous plant monsters, so this isn’t entirely dedicated to low-key construction. But so far, this all remains a special case of the book’s priorities.
The different chapters of this volume also work in different ways. An article spends its time introducing a new hostile character and details the biological explanation of a rare snail he’s hunting, all in the end to see Gordon’s turn to sell the escargot’s attraction, and then The whole thing was over a little bit our hero calmly walked away from the explosion, all the effort went too fast. On the other hand, some of the details mentioned in the slow pace of the volume eventually lead to the effective revelation of Gordon’s illness, which provides Alyssa with an opportunity to show how she has grown during her time with him, even in the The food has also changed and prepared by myself. It’s a progression we can appreciate in a story like this, without any of the more traditional action series turns. The unifying thematic focus on the joys of food works, even if the book is disappointingly lacking in volume 1’s recipe record.
In the final chapters of the book, though, things do come out in a more direct way. More information on Gordon’s military past (and Kyle, by extension) has been released, and several characters from the time are now back. Gordon and Kyle join forces against advancing, which creates an even bigger threat for Gordon and Kyle, though doing so is also frustrating that Alisha has to turn into a kidnapped teenage girl for them to rescue — and her best batch of growth and character development, too. I thought, two steps forward, all of that. Still, this upgrade, with the titular food truck even receiving some kind of energy to contend with, feels like a charging orgasm 300 need to orient yourself towards Going in that direction, especially knowing that the upcoming third volume is where the whole story really ends.
Regardless, Ogaki’s art still supports the story well. The proportions of the characters, especially Arisa, seem to have become more consistent throughout the book. Elements such as the reservoir tree in Kyle and Myna’s focus chapter, Gordon’s military-era flashbacks, or later abandoned battlefields where food trucks roll over, have Ogaki flexing his muscles in his depictions of various backgrounds and background elements. He also showcases some strong visual storytelling, with moments like the detailed double-page spread conveying the impact of a giant tank’s sudden appearance. In another example, the paneling appears to have temporarily broken – degree rule, we’d be surprised to find out who actually shot whom before we quickly timed it. These brief indulgences of “madness” are complemented by a softer, almost lighthearted depiction of this post-apocalyptic foodie road trip.
Not sure where 205 at the very beginning, but if you start with A more deliberate rhythm ends the jibing, then this second volume will confirm that the whole series is definitely for you. For those who might have previously expected more outrageous action from the set, this continuation illustrates why the style it eventually adopted is still fully valid. Honestly, it’s a tonal aspect that makes the manga feel more unique, which is appreciated in any entertainment field. I’m not sure300 and where it went in the first place, but ironically sad to see it go soon, only one volume left after that.
