YouTube content creator and social media personality turned professional boxer Jack Paul is expected to face former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva in a boxing bout in October.
UFC President Dana White was in the post-fight press conference for Dana White’s Contenders Series Week 6 in Las Vegas on Tuesday when he asked him about the upcoming View of the Showtime boxing match being held.
“I don’t care. You know what I mean,” White said. “But if he’s really fighting Anderson Silva, if he’s really fighting Anderson Silva, if that’s true, then it’s time.”
Silva holds the longest winning streak in UFC history with 16 straight wins within the Octagon. From October 2006 to July 2013, he held the 185-pound title, the longest title in promotion history.
“No matter how old Anderson is, he has a real fight,” White said. “That was a real fight.”
